I can't speak for every hall, but the Baddock dining hall is great. They're only open for 1.5 hours in the morning, early afternoon, and evening to serve three meals a day. We have yet to eat lunch in the hall but at breakfast and dinner, they offer a variety of food options for people with dietary, religious, and allergy restrictions. One of the other students on my trip was fasting during Ramadan and they made sure she had food to break her fast from the moment we got there.
I personally like this hall better than my hall back home. The service here is great. They'll ask you if you need anything and if you're really enjoying the food. So I found that being honest is effective and respectful, especially as someone with allergies. They have many alternatives and will find the right option for you!

AuthorI come from a household with Jamaican and Southern food. So my food is typically full of meat, rice, beans, vegetables, and flavorful spices. Finding food that's similar to what I like is somewhat difficult with a budget. I hope this blog helps if you find yourself in a situation like this. |
